Current scope

Product-linked asset governance is not a claim to replace every DAM.

Nexodo does not currently present AI background removal, image relighting, automatic upscaling, format conversion, CDN transformation, creative approvals, or a public brand library as generally available DAM features.

Teams that depend on those capabilities should keep a specialist DAM or image service and define how approved asset references enter the PIM. The PIM remains responsible for product context and readiness; the specialist system remains responsible for advanced media operations.

Evaluation

Test the relationship between assets, products, and channel requirements.

Use a sample with several variants, supplier images, technical documents, and a missing required asset. Confirm that the team can identify the correct product relationship, preserve evidence, and stop an incomplete record before publication.

This test is more informative than comparing storage limits alone. The conversion value comes from fewer mismatched images, fewer missing documents, and a clear owner for the product-media relationship.
