Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you evaluate a PIM.

Who needs a PIM?

Teams with many products, attributes, suppliers, languages, assets, or sales channels usually reach the point where spreadsheets and ERP descriptions cannot govern customer-facing content.

How much does PIM software cost?

PIM pricing depends on catalog size, users, channels, implementation, and enrichment needs. Nexodo publishes its current self-service price and product limits on the pricing page so teams can evaluate fit before committing.

Is a PIM the same as an ERP?

No. ERP systems manage transactions, inventory, purchasing, and operational master data. PIM software governs the enriched product information and assets used by customers, sales teams, and commerce channels.

What can Nexodo import?

Nexodo currently supports CSV files and Google Sheets. PDF and XLSX extraction are not yet included.

How is Nexodo different from a spreadsheet?

It adds a canonical model, source-level observations, validation, roles, change history, rollback, assets, and controlled publishing.
